Canopy is our Communication and Summit Hub. Like the branches of the tree, every family office grows from its own roots. Canopy is where those branches meet, so that what one of us learns can support and strengthen all of us.

That is the idea behind this space: a place where family office leaders, Booth faculty, and fellow practitioners can connect, exchange ideas, share leading practices, and continue the conversations that begin at our gatherings.

The Chicago Booth Family Office Initiative was launched in October 2024 with a mission to build a world class center serving to answer the key questions of family office leaders to enable them to build world class organizations, with world class talent to lead them. We draw on the strengths and differentiated value of the University of Chicago, Chicago Booth, and the network of leaders who make up this community. Every event and program we host is sponsorship-free and solicitation-free, so that conversations can stay candid, practical, and built on trust.

Now as we expand this network, we invite you to register and log in to Canopy, introduce yourself, and start connecting with your peers. The value of this community comes from the people in it, and we hope you will make it your own.
